The goal of the 2007 Fly Iowa Challenge is to:

  • Encourage pilots and non-pilots alike to visit Iowa’s fine airports

  •  Increase awareness of and promote Iowa’s airports

  •  Increase activity levels at Iowa’s airports.

  •  Increase support for the goals of the Iowa Aviation Promotion Group

  •  Increase the activity and proficiency level of Iowa pilots

Your mission:  To visit as many of Iowa's 115 public access airports as possible between May 1, 2007 and September 30, 2007.  You may fly, drive, bicycle, or walk to visit each airport, and you must sign in at each airport and keep a personal Fly Iowa Challenge log of all your visits.

Below is a complete package in pdf form explaining the Challenge.  It includes a registration form, rules, and your Fly Iowa Challenge log of airports visited.  There are rewards for your effort, and you will have fun along the way. Please take a look and give it a try.
