Planning has begun for Fly Iowa 2010 which will be dubbed "Fly Iowa 100.  The first powered flight in Iowa took place at Burlington when Art Hartman lifted his aircraft off the grounds on the Burlington Country Club on May 10, 1910. 

Planning is underway and although the venues are not complete, save the date of September 18, 2010 for activities at the Airport in Burlington.  An air show, fly-in breakfast, and hangar dance as well as other activities are being planned.

An Iowa Aviation Youth Camp is also planned as part of Fly Iowa 100 for June 26, 2010
