Planning has begun for Fly Iowa 2010 which has been dubbed "Fly Iowa 100".   The first powered flight in Iowa took place at Burlington when Art Hartman lifted his aircraft off the grounds of the Burlington Country Club on May 10, 1910.

 Although the venues are not complete, save the date of September 18, 2010 for activities at the Burlington Regional Airport.  An air show,  fly-in breakfast and hangar dance as well as other activities are being planned.

An Iowa Aviation Youth Camp is also planned as part of Fly Iowa 100 for June 26, 2010.
